Most of us rely on recommendations from our peers when we make decisions. This habit is something you can capitalize on with video testimonials. When seeking services or products from a new company, potential customers find it reassuring to hear from current customers. Consider some of your most satisfied customers: would they be willing to do a video testimonial for you? Could they speak convincingly about what they loved about their experience and how were they treated in the process? Hearing and seeing others testimony helps increase engagement and trust while giving prospects convincing feedback about your organization.

  1. Consistent Quality Videos

With so much video available online we expect high quality videos with engaging content. High quality videos hold our attention and they always provide good information while providing lots of visual interest. Attention spans are not what they used to be so our videos need to be packed with cover shots and supporting graphics to hold our viewers attention. Today’s videos pace quickly and the pacing is usually driven by the audio. Good sound design contributes significantly to the quality and pacing of your video. Consistency is also important. Consistent videos not only keep you top of mind, they help you establish a long-term relationship with your clientele. With long term relationships comes more trust and credibility with your audience and a greater likelihood that they’ll think of you when it’s time to call for the services or products that you provide.
